So I was reading "The Rational Male" and one thing that stood out to me was the chapter called The Medium is the Message. Rollo talks about the differences in male and female communication. Men have a straightforward approach in communication (overt) and women tend to communicate with subtle hints (covert). He mentions how important this is whenever you're trying to court a girl that you fancy, which is something I already know but have never quite understood (I guess since i'm a guy).

The only way I know how to communicate covertly is by body language, eye contact, and kino.

My question is how much do words play apart in this?

Because I always seem to get stuck on what to say when i'm talking with a girl, and that's mainly because I put too much thought into my words (i'm a writer).

Also, what are other ways people can communicate covertly, mainly from a seduction standpoint?
