SS: Just finished watching this and found it to be a moving portrait of one man's life.

There are many themes in this mini-documentary such as the impact of the economy, the nature of ambition, and the vagaries of fate. It is also a critique of the atomized nature of modern society. Mostly however it is a meditation on relationships and what it means to live a successful life.
