Dear God. I just read the Wikipedia article. This is bad but terribly enough it’s not the only one. Sylvia Likens had a similar thing happen in the 1960s and everyone involved was eventually released from prison. Both of these rancid people shouldn’t be so lucky and should either die in prison or get the death sentence.

I’m confused how this falls under the category of this subreddit. The woman got life without parole, but the boyfriend was sentenced to death, even though as far as I can tell from the Wikipedia article (and there may be some info I don’t know about) they were both equally guilty of the same crime. I’m not complaining that the piece of shit man got a death sentence (and in any case it was suspended because of the state-wide moratorium in CA), but how is this a case of pussypassdenied if a woman got a more lenient sentence than a man for the exact same crime?
