Now this is the type of shit this sub is infamous for.

I fully agree that if the roles were flipped then the guy would have absolutely gotten shit, if not from his wife then from people on the internet but shitting on the situation is exactly what the people you guys are against do. Also the wife told him outright what she found unattractive in him and he made the effort to change so the situation turned out great and should be a model of a successful relationship.

I don't agree, it's normal to want to lose weight for your spouse no matter the gender.

If you don't want to look good for your So then you don't really love that person.

All I see with this story is an husband that is really mature and loving and a wife that is understanding and loving too. They seem like a great couple.

What is crazy to me is the people that would go mad if gender were reversed because it seem like a natural situation to me.

If it's at the point where it's unhealthy and his family already has cases of diabetes than there's nothing wrong about it. At that point it's not about being attracted but worrying about his health. Sometimes you need to hear something like that to change yourself. No matter if it's eating, drinking or something else, you often don't realize you have a problem until someone else speaks about it. That's called an intervention.
