For 100 years since women's suffrage, there was a pretty decent peace between genders. Women could do the selecting for the first time in history, but men could still make the overtures.
In the time of tinder and the time of women wanting to put a stop to any displays of flirting/sexualized behavior from men towards women (bookstore? Creepy. Bus stop? Creepy. Job? Fired for sexual harassment), what women are doing is sowing the seeds of their own undoing.
When you cut out the population of men who can be shamed, the population of men who feel moral conscience pricklings, or the men who believe that trying to gain her attention would earn hatred and demonising because he is not attractive enough, what you end up with is women only have two choices of men.
The extremely attractive and the sociopathic.
You might think this is all well and good. As a woman you say "Hey, I've upped my quality of men because I wont get locked into a relationship with someone who isn't attractive enough".
But that's not what happens. More and more today, women are complaining that men are commitment-phobic. That men will not settle down.
But why should he? If he's as attractive as he is, and if women have killed his competition, by cutting out a significant portion of the male pool through demonizing, then what need does he have to stick around? He is now prized as highly as any of the most attractive women, and he has few reasons to worry about competition.
Why would a man in such a position limit himself when he could have sex with someone in the "4-6" range just to enjoy it, and then stick with a "9" or a "10" for a longer term, of course, unless another comes along?
Women will not find a partner for the long term by limiting potential mates through psychological and sometimes even political warfare against male attraction/attention.
What it does is limit the available men. When you highly restrict the supply of something, its value increases. When its value increases, for men and women, they can drop you easily after getting what they want out of you.
This hasn't yet discussed the second option yet; the sociopath. Maybe he's less attractive, maybe not. But his manner of "confidence" even in the face of accusations of impropriety or other abuses thrown his way, will not dissuade him. He doesn't care. And this "air of confidence" which is not built on self-acceptance and belief in his personal value, but is built on disdain for anyone else, will play itself out as abuse, verbal or physical, threats, intimidation, manipulation, and using Her for his own pleasure before discarding.
We all think that artificially decreasing the pool of suitors to only the most attractive through some form of mental warfare will only improve our value, but it has the opposite if you care about pair bonding, not feeling used, and seeking long term happiness.
