Which is fine as long as they also offer the same service for men. Which they don't. When I was taking my kids and getting away from my ex-wife there was no service to help men with children in my province in Canada. The best they they could do was put us up in a hotel. No shelters, no counseling, no proper aid for men with children. I called the women's outreach center for help and they could not or would not help us.

Long story short, all's well that ends well. But on my street alone I know 4 single dad's with families and full custody. We are not rare anymore, in fact we're rather common, but society hasn't caught up to that fact yet.

"The trial would see workers from the Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service, placed at five police stations in NSW.

The workers, who are currently stationed at courts throughout the state, help women and children with information, advocacy, safety planning, and referrals to housing and other services."
