I keep it short, so hopefully this will suffice.. I live in Miami and I'm noticing there are these social groups where people under one or two promoters...

not sure exactly what you're talking about but there's the typical promoter system where clubs work with promoters so the promoter blasts out a message to his email list or facebook group or whatever to go to X club on friday and tell them the promoter's name at the door. then at the end of the night the club gives the promoter some $$ based on how many people he got to come. i assume that every major city has promoters who do something along those lines and some of them do try to make it seem more like a group than just an email list.

there are also actual social groups (instead of just people on a promoter's spam list) that go out to clubs. my social circles include people who like to go out together and party and we know a lot of promoters, managers, owners, VIPs, etc. when we go out usually one of us can call someone and they hook us up with cheap tables, event tickets at the employee price and backstage access for shows, cut the door lines, free drinks, shit like that. they like to hook us up with free vip shit because we're friends and also because they know we are good customers and will be rolling deep with hot girls. most of the profit at these places comes from thirsty dudes trying to get laid and spending lots of money buying drinks. lots of hot flirty girls in the club = more profit.

but there's no formal membership application or anything like that, we're just friends/acquaintances going out partying together who happen to know the right people.

yes, just my friends and friends-of-friends. it's not like a club you can join or anything lol.

i've just made an effort to 1.) improve my value and 2.) constantly meet new people so that my friends are high-quality people who have lots of good connections to other high-quality people.

those promoters lists aren't necessarily total garbage, you can sometimes find out if there is going to be a cool event happening. just be aware that it's not really some special party club for cool people if they let any random jackass sign up. it's an advertising thing and they are trying to lure in girls to lure in guys so they can sell lots of overpriced alcohol.

if you can build up a large enough social network, you can basically become a promoter yourself. you don't need a special promoter license or anything. either contact a larger promoter or the club directly and tell them you're having a party and bringing a bunch of friends. at the door you friends will say they are there for waitforit93x's party and they'll get a reduced cover charge or a special wristband for drink discounts. the club keeps a tally and then at the end of the night the club will give you a gift certificate or $100 off you tab or something like that if you brought in more than X number of people.
