Today I decided, as one of the complaints of us MRA's is a lack of shelters for men, to lodge a Freedom of Information request with the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government.

The aim of this is to see if there is a disparity in funding using information readily available on the proportion of men to women living on the streets and creating a mean cost per man and woman on the street to decide if there is an existent disparity between funding provided for both.

This is short as I have just lodged the request however, we will be able to answer the question in, at most, 20 days time.
