The few people, I knew who went to prison/DB, all moved away and restarted their lives in a different region.

It seems reddit has a bot that looks for certain types of user behaviour that indicate spamming or brigading. Sometimes innocent users get shadowbanned along with the bad guys. Usually they can fix this if they contact the admins.

The men I know that are in prison will be my friends for life. I had a roommate that went to prison 15 years or so before I met him. One of my best friends now.
