Then the red arrow is the part based by characteristics (such as years of schooling, work experience, etc) this is 6.2.

I don't really understand what is going on, but I will try to help.

First, you cannot objectively "factor in" characteristics.

Here are characteristics that, if not factored in, would debunk this.

Average pay in field of higher education choice. (Women do choose gender studies more and STEM fields (mostly the TEM part) less).
Average age of worker (pay increases with age)
Worker productivity (mothers would be less productive, and fathers would be more productive). This is VERY different from hours worked.
Success in asking for raises

If all else fails, go for the old "If the wage gap was real, anyone could get ludicrously rich by just hiring only women"

If the response to this is "but they are sexists, so they wouldn't help women by hiring them", remind them that many business owners are radical individualists.

Plus, it is fucking illegal.

Also, where is the data from? What time was it taken? How exactly did they "quantify" charachteristics?
