North Korea's "struggle sessions" remind me a bit of the mentality /r/menslib uses to prod men into confessing their complicity in perpetuating "patriarchy"

I feel like this is relevant because not only does menslib also work off of a group-based form of guilt, but I am of the impression that many of the people running things over there do in fact admire the ideology of Communism, just with the focus being on what kind of genitals a person has in their pants instead of how much money they have in them.

I am suspicious that both techniques share similar origins.
