Most of the time, females are more physically weaker and more vulnerable than males are and so they are more prone to getting physically damaged than males are, and that's why they are most of the time not allowed to play in male sport games. That's not sexist, it's fucking reality!
The whole cliché in TV shows, movies, and other forms of fiction about females being physically able to play in male's sport games, but not being able to because of sexist reasons is just giving the message that females are not allowed to play in male sports because of sexism rather than for logical reasons, and that's not a good thing. There's a reason why (most of the time) there's male only sports and female only sports.
I also don't think that transgendered women should play in women sports neither. I have seen a boxing match between a woman and a transgendered woman before, and the transgendered woman brutally beat up the woman. It was a very horrible thing to see!
Here's some TV shows that have done the whole "females being physically able to play in male's sport games, but not being able to because of them being female cliché":
The Proud Family episode "She's Got Game"
Alvin & the Chipmunks episode "Soccer to Me"
Clone High episode "Homecoming: A Shot in D'Arc"
King of the Hill episode "Bobby Slam"
