so I have been in a somewhat related position where the little girl (under 10 ) was complaining her (bio) dad was hurting/abusing her, and her mother was asking my advice/help, which was obviously GO TO THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY!!! turns out it wasn't true and the girl was confused (she was very young).

we have due process for a fucking reason, and with good fucking reason. these people are absolute scum.
