She brought up a feminist talking point during a discussion we were having, namely the wage gap. I debunked the wage gap by asking a simple question, and she didn’t acknowledge that I said anything at all. Every time I would bring something up that showed that often times women have it easier than men, she wouldn’t acknowledge I said anything and would keep on insisting that women are oppressed and men are privileged. I had never known her to agree with such feminist talking points, and I had previously believed that she had a very level head about these things but I was apparently very wrong. Therefore, I don’t feel like I can be friends with her anymore, because honestly, the way she treated me in that conversation hurt me. I would bring it up to her, but it’s been a while and I don’t want to rehash the issue. So, I think I’m just going to slowly ghost her. That is somewhat difficult because I’m very close with her sisters, but I’m graduating at the end of the year and going off to college, and I don’t go to she same school as her anymore so it shouldn’t be so hard after that.
