I had to go to court for minor in possession of alcohol about 10yrs ago (I was fucking 20, not a minor and legally could go die in a war). I got slammed with a $1,000 ticket, community service, 16hr addiction course and a 6mo license suspension. The girl in front of me, same age-ish, straight stole an Xbox from Walmart and got everything waved because she was "going on a mission". I lost all respect for our judicial system after that.
