I was falsely accused by a girl with mental illness of sexual assault. Hired the best law firm in the country to protect me. Wasn’t enough. Suspended from school for a year, but making the best out of the situation.

Was recently suspended for a false accusation. I had our conversations, evidence, proof, and it still wasn’t enough. I went through 8 months of emotional hell and no one was there to protect me but myself, and fortunately my family. My college hired a partner at a law firm for the complainant to try and run me through the ground. They wanted me to withdraw for three years, and admit to guilt but I put up a fight to protect myself. I knew these allegations were horseshit. It was a long fought battle, and I eventually simultaneously won. I fought them for 8 months, hired forensic pathologists, you name it! I was not going to be a victim to the me too narrative. What happened in the end you ask? I was suspended for just a year(during a covid year with overpriced online classes so whatever), and I knew they had to suspend me. In a time like this, with the me too narrative, the school would receive far too much backlash if they had allowed the complainant to not win, so I think that’s why they removed me for a year. Regardless, I saw it as a sideways win. Rather than having to withdrawal for three years, and admit to guilt, i got a one year suspension, with no guilt admission( this was big because i didn’t do what I was being accused of, and I fought for my innocence). I am out of school for a year, and I can finally relax from the hell i was put through. I am starting to feel happier again.

I am honestly not as mad as you think, I am more just glad this is over. This was the worst 8 months of my life. The emotional stress of being falsely accused of something I didn’t do, and the stress of potentially having your life ruined over it was killing me. I am just glad it’s over. I now have a 12 month paid internship at a bank that i am working at right now before I go back to school so I am making the best out of the situation so yeah. So as bad as it seems guys I am honestly doing okay. My future is not ruined.

I am making this post to show that if you do not come from a bit of financial support you’re literally a scapegoat for the universities in situations like this. By hiring the best firm in the country, I got myself a year out of school, and no admission to guilt. But for some poor kid, unfortunately he would not be protected by the university, let alone have the financial means to hire someone to protect them. This post is also to show you where the universities stand with the accused. If you are accused you won’t get help. They won’t pay your legal bills.

All in all. Lesson learned from this situation is to vet people out. No I am not going to go anti women. I am not mgtow. No I am not a misogynist. Just learn to vet people out. I took a risk to have a one night stand with someone I barely knew who ultimately had some form of mental illness. I am to blame for putting myself in that position, so take it from me and be careful out there and really learn about the person before getting in bed with them.
