Crosspost "I have been released from a detention cell after a false assault accusation made by my ex girlfriend. What is the best legal action can I take against her?" from /r/MGTOW2:
I received a call from a cop telling me that my ex had opened a case against me for assault. When I arrived at the station I was detained and put in cell for a couple of nights. No one listened to a word I said or was willing to do proper investigation. They continued to say misandrist crap like "This is what men do to women all the time."
Luckily for me someone from the outside got me a lawyer and the lawyer got me released from the cell, before things escalated to the clown court, and told me that the case had been dropped.
To clarify, the case was not dropped because my ex dropped the case. The case was dropped because of my lawyer who told them how full of shit they were and that there was no evidence of assault (medical reports, witnesses, pictures of bruises) and that the several statements make no sense. So that grudgingly release me.
The most glaring sign of police incompetence was that the case opened was for domestic violence. I don't live with my ex and I have never lived with her. Anyways my lawyer is suing the police department on my behalf (he was one several cases like this for other men) and has told me that there will definitely be some money coming my way.
I'm still not satisfied with this outcome. Yes the police department handled the case like idiots but it's not like the woke up one morning and decided to come after me. My ex is the one who created this mess and lied under oath in her full statement. This isn't about money. I want her to serve jail time or at the very least be slapped with a criminal record so that the next time the lying cunt tries to do this to other man, it will be on record that she has a history of pulling this shit.
I'm going to chat to my lawyer at the end of this month. But I'm not going to let this one slide, even if I have to fork up some cash. I feel that I have an obligation to do this to protect the next man who's life she's tries to ruin.
Side note: My ex doesn't have a squeaky clean record as I found out towards the end of our relationship. She has been arrested for shoplifting before and I believe that she has falsely accused other men in the past.
Please help me teach this monster a lesson.
