Buildings go up to save on space lady, a big flat round building has a huge land footprint and costs more not to mention digging underground causes different issues. Fact is that buildings are not designed to be phallic the fact that something is the same shape vaguely does not make it sexist. Form follows function in this case its because we don't price the land by square foot vertically.
