There's a dangerous amount of people that really think this is justice. It's not even eye for an eye: it's pardoning murder. Of course rape is a very serious issue, but killing someone is called homicide and I'm pretty sure that's worse of a crime. What do you guys think of this?

Murder IS worst than rape, you can still have a family after being raped. You can still fucking live your life.

Defending otherwise will push us towards all kind of ways to justify murder and that's not healthy for anyone.

I always thought that murder was when you set out to kill someone.

This would therefore be different from killing someone by accident or in self defense.

I agree that in a civil society nobody should be killing anyone else, i hope that's obvious. However a rapist is not acting as part of such a society. I wouldnt lose any sleep if a victim killed them.

I think we should lower sentences people who kill a lot of horrible people. Like a mass murderer that exclusively kills pedos or rapists. We should NOT get rid of their sentence and we should also get them mental help.

If it was proven that the person performed or attempted rape, then I do not see the reason to treat the case as a regular homicide.

My point is that there's no such thing as "positive murder" in any shape or form, and this kind of viral tweets only enforce the feeling that, if for vengeance, killing is not entirely bad. Now, in self-defence against the rapist in a confrontation? That's something very different and every case should be treated independently with attention to detail, like in any other murder (or at least I hope so).
