A supposed war between the sexes cannot be supposed without necessarily implying the generalised virtues of the sexes and an imbalanced power structure between these said virtues.
For men this is the 'harder' virtues exemplified mainly by truth, and for example justice is also included here. For women this is the 'softer' virtues exemplified mainly by love and to match men's exemplifying of justice, the mercy exemplified by women. The idea is while these virtues don't need to line up with any particular persons, they will line up in general between the sexes. And when these virtues are in a unified stable balance seeking to cooperate with one another, then we can successfully repeat the pattern into new generations.
The alternative to this orderly unification between the virtues of truth & justice along with love & mercy is a chaotic descent into a never ending unholy alliance starting with the lies & corruption of women along with the hate & fear of men and approaching the bondage for all towards being timid, shy, spoiled and narcissistic. This is the result if those seeking love need not answer to truth and those seeking truth need not serve love, no one ends up with the right to life or freedom, as everyone's struggle for power from timidness and spoiledness can only result in an even worse downward spiral of manipulation and victimization.
This is why it's so easy to assume we need a time machine for any progress or why there's no hope to get fathers back into the home, or that an acknowledgement of any truly profitable gender roles was all a farce to begin with. But the men's and women's human rights activism movement is right in seeking progress, and so we all should be glad for their efforts on this front, for it is them that have sought discernment as to what our roles as men and women of humanity ought to look like in an ever changing world yet with the same distinctions we've had since time immemorial.
What we all need to be aware of is where we've gone wrong and well in the past. And this requires the righteous judgement towards our past social engineering efforts, discerning exactly where in the room the frankenstein's elephant is, and how to pick up after it. While we should always pursue the proper balance of the virtues we need, I've mentioned already practically we do have all the beginnings of a turning tide of people on the necessary fronts for this pursuit, and the more momentum, the better.
The more people we have pursuing the solutions for that which divides us is wonderful, and I'd argue one of the most significantly important of these issues is the presence of the father in a child's life, for which the pursuit of, regardless of how oppressive you may believe it to be, I believe to be a natural reassertion of the traditional roles and their necessary virtues. That is however possible only if men and women continue to put more of their own skin in the game, to help fathers and mothers help one another, as to avoid the ever-present social ills seeking further destruction from victimizing and manipulative men and women, and instead pursue healthy relations between strong and faithful fathers and mothers.
conclusion & teal deer: However far into this mess we've come, the only source of freedom is the only source we've ever had, which is to unify and instill into everyone down the generations the values of truth and love, headship and obedience. To which there'll always be a push-back often largely just misled and blind to true righteousness, and won't be successful in anything more than adding more members on either side of the divide to loud sex-positive & negative sexism cults epitomising bondage for which can only be conquered by the freedom entailed by the unity of obedient love for self-sacrificial truth.
