I'm seeing more and more of this: feminists using "mansplaining" accusations to deal with being publicly proven wrong

Female BBC manager publicly declines promotion over pay inequality | After she threw a public tantrum, it's revealed that the male manager had several years more experience than her, justifying the difference in pay. The BBC is standing firm for once - good for them!

Woman divorced her husband and got $15m. He later listed his company on the stockmarket and earned $93m. You guessed it: she's now suing him for more money...

'We asked the DPP to appeal and they agreed with us that the sentence... was "on the lenient side", but after a while they wrote and said they had decided not to, because no woman in Victoria had ever been given jail time for infanticide,' Michelle said.

Pathetic.

'Women scream for equality, but when it comes to things like this they don't want it... well, you can't have it both ways.'

It's very feminist to fight to preserve female privilege and oppose gender equality.

Incredibly, a court order means Alicia and her older brother Luke still see their mum for visits.

It is something that angers their aunt enormously.

'The fact she gets to see the child she tried to kill... can you imagine if a rapist was able to see the child he tried to rape?' Michelle said.

Of course the mother still gets visitation rights with the twin girl she tried to murder, but failed. She's a woman!

The lifting of the suppression order last year was also important to Paul, who feels Amanda's death has been 'hidden'.

The father was not allowed to tell people who murdered his daughter for 8 fucking years!

This whole case makes me livid.

Whole thing is just sad, I hope karma come for that crazy bitch soon and that those outdated laws get changed

Surely you're joking? There are so many movements to keep women out of jail that in the near future, only men can be jailed.

In UK, the Prison Reform Trust has been actively working to remove prison for women since its establishment in the 1980s.

In 2002, the Home Office issued a directive to keep women out of jail (https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/keep-women-out-of-jail-says-home-office-188994.html).

In June of 2018, the Justice Secretary revealed that women will only be jailed for serious offences. Plans for new women's prisons were cancelled to be replaced by women's centres (https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2018/06/26/justice-secretary-dont-send-women-prison-unless-commit-violent/).

The movement to keep women out of jail has spread to Australia:(https://www.sydneycommunityfoundation.org.au/find_a_fund/kwoop-keeping-women-out-of-prison/)

And to Canada where the CSC has manually re-jigged the security classification scale several times in order to try to keep women out of jail: https://edmonton.citynews.ca/2020/03/21/caefs-covid-19-prisons/ (https://www.thestar.com/opinion/star-columnists/2018/01/04/treatment-of-women-in-canadian-prisons-a-human-rights-travesty.html)

If she really felt that way the least she could do is punch the judge until he realises maybe it's a bad idea to give psychotic and dangerous women preferential treatment.

Infanticide law was born out of protecting women. Victorian era courts refused to convict women for Murder when it involved their own children. It was around the time insanity defenses started. People thought These crimes ran counter to what society viewed as a woman's nature, so assumed the women who committed them must be too sick to be held accountable. The Separate charge of infanticide was invented, so that the mothers would at least face some amount of justice. I've heard this, at least. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Australia just seems like such a gynocentric country, in fact all of the Anglo countries, women can stab, murder, shoot people, run people over, and they never get sent to prison.

This is a new low, now they're murdering children and getting away with it.

So what i'm reading is the aunt is sane, and the court system....isn't.

I guess neither is the mother because holy fuck.
