We don’t really talk about it. She believes in the pay gap, patriarchy and that all pro life support is solely around controlling women’s bodies. She told me once when I was venting to her about a hard day at work, “at least you’re not a woman,” because I work in IT. Evidently the reason women aren’t prominent in IT has everything to do with men making it hard for them and if I’m have a hard time, I need to realize the strength of the women who perform the same job. To this day it pisses me off to think she holds my hard work at a lower regard than the women in my field, not because I’m a man but I’m her fucking husband! I feel if anybody should recognize my achievements in this life it should be her. But I’m just doing what a white man does and winning I guess.
Sorry this turned into a rant, but my wife is the reason I found this sub.
