Good luck man, I'm working on doing the same, but that shit runs deep. It's in fucking ACES. Mary Koss is cited and worked on some of the diagnostic tools (I am unsure as to what degree, but her mere involvement makes me weary).

You might want to search the internet for sites by teachers who are trying to do the same thing you are. I haven't checked recently but I remember seeing a few sites in the past that might help you avoid bringing feminist ideology into the classroom.
