So idk what anyone here thinks about this whether they are pro choice or pro life, but respectfully my question isn’t actually about abortion rights, it’s kind of assuming women are allowed to have abortions already (in all cases hypothetically).

So that being said, a woman is allowed to abort her child and basically say she’s not ready to be a mother so she doesn’t have to be, no obligation past getting the abortion procedure done.

Even after the child’s born if one is born, the woman is allowed under the Safe Haven Law in 46 states to drop a newborn off at an adoption center no questions asked.

Men do not have any of these choices!!!

Of course the potential father can’t force his wife to get an abortion, BUT he should be allowed to back out of parenthood with the same buffer of time the mother has to decide on an abortion.

Men don’t get to drop newborns off at adoption centers. No matter what, men are forced to either raise the kid or pay child support if the woman he slept with decides she wants to keep the baby and is able to track them down.

One time I explained this to some of my female friends at college, and they didn’t understand my logic at all!! How?!?!?

I’d argue that if a man offers to pay for half or all of the abortion procedure as soon as pregnancy is discovered, that should be their way to bail out of unplanned parenting just like women can with abortions and drop-offs.
