in gym class in high school we played a lot of tag related games, usually a version of capture the flag. you get tagged and you are out. so there were two people left on my team and the other team makes a run for it. I get one of the guys and he goes over to the out area. this leaves the a girl. there was a safe zone you could be in. so she was there and made a run for the flag I reach out and she goes to duck under my arm. instead she runs straight into it. she says she is not out and yells at me for "hitting her". I get in trouble even thought she ran into me. I did nothing but reach out to tag her. another game I caught up to her and went to tag her with one hand I had barely touched her when she takes a flop. she yells at me, as do all of the other girls. I get in trouble even though I had barely touched her. I was a man so I always did something wrong, because I was male.

now for a consistent thing. in gym a bunch of the girls would not play. they would sit on the side lines and gossip the entire class even though they were supposed to be on the field. this gets real annoying when they are on your team. a bunch of the guys start telling them to get on the field and play. this happened for a few weeks until all of the guys got in trouble. none of us were being mean, just telling them to stand up and get out on the field. we were told that we were being bullies and shouldn't shame someone for being bad at sports. we explained that it wasn't that they were bad, but that they weren't even on the field and that we were not being mean or making fun of them. this got everyone in more trouble.
