Hi everyone!! I'm 20 and my fiance is 21, we have a 3 year old daughter and we've been together since November 2011. She wasn't planned but we've worked really hard to get to the point we're at right now and my fiance and I are happy, for the most part.

Let me start by admitting that I haven't been the best partner to him. I've been reading this sub a lot and I realized that I question his choices, make him feel less in control, and I've generally been one of those bitchy, judgy partners who "does everything right" and treated him like an incompetent, stereotypical "dumb" dad. :(

He's been depressed lately and he told me he doesn't feel like I put him first. He said I basically put everything else before him and it honestly broke my heart to hear that.

I've spent a lot of time on this sub and I honestly just love it here. I don't consider myself a feminist. I feel like I need to put my all into being a good partner to him, because when he's happy, everyone is happy. And that's worth doing a hell of a lot more cleaning and stuff.

Today I cleaned up the entire house and put dinner together in the crock pot. I texted him and told him that I love and appreciate him. Now I'm just kinda stuck? At the moment, we don't spend evenings together except on our off days because I stay home with our daughter all day until he comes home, then I go to work. That might change soon because I recently applied at a new job that would be a much better opportunity.

So can you wonderful ladies (and lurking gents) give me a nice list to follow and easy things to remember? I want him to feel powerful, masculine and in charge. I want him to feel like a fuckin' boss with a damn good future wife who loves and respects him. I really, truly do. I just haven't done a good job showing it.

Thanks in advance.
