Female officer commits what is evidently police brutality against a M suspect without any consequence whatsoever. Blue lives do matter, but you must do your job with diligence and full responsibility for your actions. Behavior like this must have consequences. The pussy pass is UNACCEPTABLE as such.

i watched donut operator cover this and it was pretty interesting. (following is based off shoddy memory)

he was suspected of shoplifting, and the woman cop was trying to read his rights and bring him for questioning when he just ignored her and tried to walk back into the house. then suspect gets super agitated and borderline violent when the cop tried to stop him. after many minutes of the cop trying to get him to comply with simple commands, he gets violent and attempts to wrestle with the cop. that is a very dangerous position to be in for a cop, because the suspect can easily reach for her service weapon and use it on others.

she panicked and breaks free, pulling out her weapon and requests for backup, all the while telling the suspect to back off. then bad luck mom tries to hold the suspect down from acting violent. he breaks free and full on charges at the cop. cop fires, twice, and one stray bullet hit the mom by accident. (tbh if you have a suspect full on charging at you and you have a gun ready? the right thing to do is to fire. if he gets his hands on a gun who knows what he'd do). Male cop comes in and kicks the suspect in the face because, simply, dude tried to wrestle and assault a cop.

was it handled well? no. did she require more training? yes. was it a "pussy pass"? i dont think so. there's zero "pass" here. she handled the situation badly, and that was it. i dont care if you have mental illness or not, but if you try attacking a cop, you get what's coming to you after. mental illness doesnt excuse you from crimes.

This was bad situation for sure, she should have just waited for back up as soon as she knew he was much stronger than her. Then it would not have elevated past an arrest.
