I think the only problem I have with this is that the person in the OP decided to use this incident as a way of virtue signalling on social media. Seems like a classic humble brag scenario to me "Oh no! I was hit on today! Somebody pay attention to me!" and you can see the narrative the mother's ( I'm assuming from the name ) daughter is trying to spin here.

Either that, or this is just some bullshit story they made up for click bait which does seem to happen on reddit weirdly.
