This might just be a case of lazy cops, but I feel like the story belongs here. A couple of hours ago my friend posted that a drunk woman just hit her neighbor's mailbox and was passed out in the car. They couldn't get her to wake up, so they called 911 assuming she was having a medical emergency. By the time I got there she was awake again, and trying to clean up some of the damage from where she drove into the front yard. She had started changing her front tire, which didn't appear to be damaged at all, and in the process had scattered the contents of her trunk all over the road behind her car.

She was completely out of it and wouldn't talk to or acknowledge anyone. I was thinking maybe she was hypoglycemic, or in the "K-hole". After another 10 minutes of pretending to change the tire, the paramedics show up. They asked her if she had anything to drink or if she had taken any drugs. She said she was just tired. While one paramedic was taking her vitals, another one finished changing her tire... and then they just left. The police didn't even talk to her, they glanced at the mailbox, and said the damage wasn't that bad. I stayed around for a few minutes, and the woman was still just standing by the back of her car looking confused. I was told she left shortly after I did, but not before yelling "thanks for the help, yeah right!"
