Hi! I just started reading the red pill and the RPW yesterday. It's like finally discovering an alternative to r/relationships, an alternate solution. I believe in the Red Pill but I have a lot of trouble fighting the BP dynamic in my marriage. [24F/30M]
My SO has general anxiety, social anxiety and depression. We both play video games, watch shows and read reddit/4chan respectively, and lead a hermit lifestyle (seldom meet friends/family). He is reluctant to meet people. I don't drive and there's only 1 car, which is only used to grab fast food or for work. Infrequent sex, about once a month. Few affection/intimacy, and he refuses to call me any pet names like babe. We both work together on my family's business. I handle the business side of things and have a manager-employee relationship with SO when it comes to work. I have to be the boss, which reinforces the dynamic of a BP couple.
So clearly, we have a lot of issues. I want to experience life. He agrees, but won't take action and would shoot my ideas down. I want more intimacy. He doesn't do anything about it after several talks and I've mostly given up. I've been taking care of business and things. Usually change comes because I demand it, and I hate it. I want to surrender and have him lead me. I want to be supportive but somehow always ends up in the leader position. But he lacks the initiative and I don't know how to proceed.
