Over a number of years I watched my brother have ALL of his children turned against him by Ex-Wife. The state of California made sure he paid child support but didn't give a crap if the Ex-wife (and new husband) poisoned the kids to hate him and not follow court ordered visitation. They BOTH started out with JOINT CUSTODY! It did not matter! The courts even threaten with JAIL if he didn't make those $3,000 a month child support payments.

No way I wanted children after seeing that.
