I am not sure this is about Mens Rights but I am going to ask it anyway.

One of my very close friends 63 years old, just lost his wife to cancer, quite suddenly. I know that suicide among widowed men sky rockets at that age. His kids live all over the county and he just retired. He is now going to be left in a big house filled with memories. Has anyone gone through this and how can I, as a good friend help him through this. I plan on spending as much time with him as I can. Any Ideas of helping him through this transition?
