I am currently an unemployed student living at home in a major city. I have 0 friends and besides school and the gym i spend all my time at home. I'm too poor atm to go bar hopping/clubbing so i was thinking of doing community service at animal shelters and soup kitchens. Anyone else done this? is this a good way to meet people? Not just chicks but also make some guy friends? I'm probably going to try regardless but just want to know if anyone here has done it and gotten good results.
