So like the title said, I had a job interview at my hometown high school to be an English teacher. Don’t really need the job, but I figured it might be a step up from what I’m currently doing.

Anyway, the interview goes smoothly. The two interviewers (male principal and male English department head) then ask if I have any questions. Well, I don’t wanna seem disinterested so I ask about how to handle student-teacher conflict. I then ask how I would handle situations where a female student comes on to me. For reference, I’m a fairly attractive skinny/young-looking 27-year-old. I explain how most of the news I see details these student-teacher affairs with the man getting punished pretty hard. I told them I just wanted to know who I could report those instances to. Particularly since I fear that rejecting the girl’s advances may cause her to make a claim against me. Seemed like a timely question but what the fuck do I know 🤷‍♂️

Anyway, the interview ends. And the people I’ve talked to about it are like why the fuck would you ask that. Or I’m an idiot, etc. Oh well. Was just curious what the MRA perspective was.
