I've been frequenting a local bar to improve my social skills and game with varying success, but I'm having trouble following up with the girls I meet.

On Friday I went and met an attractive girl (target) and her roommate. I eyed the attractive girl over and we got into a conversation. Over the course of the interaction, she gave me a number of IOI's - extended intense eye contact, physical touching, and gave me a kiss before she ultimately had to leave with her roommate - who appeared jealous that I was giving the other girl my attention. I got her phone number before she left. When I went to go text her later, it was a while before she replied and she apologized for the delay in her response. I told her no worries and asked how the remainder of her night went. To this I have not received a reply in 2 days. This has been a recurring theme for me - I can produce attraction in person but it seems to die down when I am not with these girls in person. I have trouble securing another meeting.

In this specific case, I'm having trouble identifying my error - do I chalk it up as a case of her being drunk and now forgetting me? Or should I have pushed harder in person while I was with her? Also, what is some good advice for when girls take a long time to respond? Try again or take the loss?

Thanks for any help, these continued failures are good for building confidence in a way but I am finding myself frustrated at my inability to close.
