If a pregnant woman doesn’t know who the father of her child is, even after a paternity test she shouldn’t be owed any child support

Context: I see this a lot but this one particular story I came across on Facebook has seriously rubbed me the wrong way.

This woman had sex with two different men and doesn’t know who the father is. She had sex with Man A once. Man B, she had sex with countless times after having sex with Man A only once. Because of the timing, it’s not likely the child is Man A’s. (There’s more details in the post about when her period was, when ovulation was, and blah blah blah).She said she doesn’t want the child to be Man B’s because he’s a: partier, couch surfing, and already doesn’t pay child support to his existing children. She hopes that the child is Man A’s because she said that Man A is already a parent and is already paying child support to another woman.

In my unpopular opinion, neither Man A or Man B should be on the hook for child support. She is adamant that she is going to have this child. I feel like this is her problem and even if Man A is already a good father, that doesn’t mean he should financially be on the hook for a child that’s probably not his. She is already planning on how she is going to get child support and the pregnancy isn’t even past the first trimester. By the sounds of it, she’s not in a relationship with either of them. This is her major fuck up and I don’t think that either of these men should be responsible for it.

Just kind of fucked up that a woman can go around sleeping with whom ever she pleases, but the unlucky guy who knocks her up is on the hook for her promiscuity.
