As I am going forward with victim services, my goal is to make my mother and whoever aided her ripping my life apart. I am getting push back from some of my friends. Before I contacted VS, my friends saw my mother as evil and someone who took advantage of me while I was sick. Now that there will be charges filed (again, as, before, when this all began, the police stated, ‘what kind of mother would do what you are “accusing” your mother of’) I was told I should have known better given my mothers history towards me. Like this isn’t the first time my mother has done something to exploit or take advantage of me. I am meeting with a lawyer and it is likely my mother and sibling will have to be accountable by the law. As this is coming to light, I feel shame. Shame for allowing this to happen knowing my mother is the way she is.. When my friend told me I should of been protecting my life better, it made me feel like a sap. I know I am a grown man and I shouldn’t of had a breakdown that left me vulnerable and then gave my mother “the opportunity” to lay me out to dry. I feel as a man, people don’t see the harm, as much as if I were a female and this were my father. People are becoming immediately sympathetic to my mother who capitalized off of me. This has been like this my whole life. My mother is the reason I am having to go through this in the first place. Trusting your mother isn’t something Anyone should feel they “should of known better.” It eats at me that I am having to seek justice and go through with this as I hate anyone to suffer. But there is nothing left of my previous life and in order to move forward I have to do what is right for me, even if it means I will be alienated more my society. I don’t talk about this to anyone as it is so far beyond human comprehension. I’ve learned being silent is the best because it leads me to more hurt and not many take what has happened seriously.
there doesn't seem to be anything here
