If the author believes the stats she must accept one of two things: either that black men are ten times more rapey than white men, or that most accusations are false. Of course she refuses to do either. Racism has always been close to the skin of feminism.

This is disappointingly predictable.

The feminist author can't bring herself to accept that "men deserve due process" is a valid position to take. All she can manage is, "Men of colour need due process, despite the fact that they're men. And, unfortunately, that means white men will also get due process as an unavoidable byproduct."

The classic feminist conundrum: she's conflicted by her empathy for people of colour vs her instinctive feminist hatred for men.
