This is fantastic!

Yet again I'm reminded that Philip Davies is a legend who has done an enormous service to men's rights by raising these issues to a national, even international, profile.

This debate hit all the key points and even the cunty feminist politicians were sufficiently cowed that they didn't try to divert the discussion onto women or spout a bunch of misandry. For the most part, anyway.

Thanks to whoever found this, I missed the debate so I'm really glad to have read it here without having to go trawling for it! There always has to be at least one condescending piece of trash at this debate..... They can't just let one civilised discussion a year be held on men's issues! Feminists have waged a perpetual war against male only spaces for the last 35 years or so, and constantly bashed the ways men communicate or interact as toxic; to all those MPs smugly sitting there and proclaiming that men need to be more like women and proclaiming more feminism as the answer, my question to you is how you expect men to communicate amongst each other, how you expect them to build friendship groups amongst each other, when the very nature of attempting to do so is always decried as exclusionary and misogynist! All your statements do is highlight just how deeply you misunderstand the causes of the issues! Imagine for a second that in order to be socially acceptable, the girly meet up you spoke up of had to include a number of men..... Would you still have been able to talk so freely??? I suspect not!! Why would you presume the situation be any different for men?!?! Everything from posh gentleman's clubs to working men's clubs to the frigging boy scouts has come under fire if they have male only membership or areas..... You can't remove the spaces where men and boys would have interacted solely with other men and boys, spaces where the friendships you speak of can be built in trust away from the ever watching eyes of mothers/wives/girlfriends etc etc; replace them with nothing and then sit there and criticise men for not having built the very confidante friendships that probably saved thousands upon thousands of male lives in previous generations! As women, your spaces have been protected and expanded! It's an issue which anyone who has even mildly kept track of the social science landscape can not deny is, at least, partially the fault of feminism and their pre occupation with fighting 'patriarchy'. I'd have much more respect for feminism as a movement if it was even mildly acknowledged that the fight against all male spaces may have caused some collateral damage in terms of rising suicid rates amongst men due to the loss of these spaces but I'm genuinely convinced they just couldn't give a fcuk! Anyway, apologies for the rant people, looking forward to Davies publishing the response he receives regarding circumcision - if anyone picks it up before me, please post it on the sub..... I'm sure the response will make for outrageous reading lol
