I mean, the whole point of this stuff is to use the least amount of force necessary to solve the problem. A man in a similar situation probably would have posed more threat so more force assembled against him.

She was feeble and slow and had failed to ambush anyone. After being disarmed she was no threat to anyone so they gently removed her. They did this perfectly.
