1) other cancers outrank breast and prostate cancer for death counts - if you are looking for prevalent deadly cancers, both search results are wrong - I think lung cancer should be on #1 2) both sexes can get breast cancer - though XX far more often than XY - But females cannot get prostate cancer - so you might want to compare ovary cancer with prostate cancer 3) Just because you have a higher death count the disease does not necessarily get a priority - LifeYearsLost is usually taken -- Take cars by two manufacturers - Type A breaks down after 3,6 and 12 months - type be breaks down after 61, 63, 64 months. Maybe type A has a significant problem than type B. Breast cancer is pretty spread around all age groups starting AFAIK at 25. Prostate cancer usually clogs around 60+ years. The life years lost - (life expectancy - year of death due cancer) is far higher for breast cancer.
