This is a great article. I'll have to finish it later. I just wanted to say that this issue absolutely enrages me. Everything about it is absurd and cruel. Not a single argument made for it stands up to the slightest bit of scrutiny. I understand why there's a natural empathy gap but for fucks sake can we close it enough to stop mutilating newborn boys?

Seriously, I don't know what to do with this anger. I don't feel like the general public will care about this anytime soon. I keep digging I this subject and it just makes me want to break something. I'm not a violent person, and I'm not worried about me hurting myself or others, but I find myself wishing that I could get in a ring with these doctors and beat them into the dirt. I can't do anything else but seithe. How the fuck do you guys handle this shit? Maybe it's just because I'm a 23 year old male but god fucking dammit it feels like I'm going stir crazy in my own head. These fuckers are butchering the genitals of baby boys, how in the fuck can something so cruel be so acceptable and so controversial!? Are we really so worthless as boys that it's ok to inflict so much harm on us against our will, when we're more defenseless than ever and our minds are in the most formative state possible?

If this were considered sexual assault, as it fucking should be, then the statistics would show that over half of the males in the US were victims of extreme sexual violence as newborn children. Combine that with other forms of sexual violence, and males are easily subject to more sexual violence than females in the US. I don't care who suffers more, I want it all gone, but society and feminism sure seems to care, so if they want to play by those rules, let's fucking play.
