I know that none of us here support Domestic violence to either gender.

The study is very likely to be flawed.

However I would probably go with the top comment from the DM:

"That's because abusive men go for quantity rather than quality. They don't care about resources or how their kids turn out".

But as to why they would do this is a whole different issue with many causes. Possibly as a reaction against society.

sadly but true...

Some women have dualistic tendencies, they are highly influenced by their own hormonal fluctuations and they manifest a "I want/I don't want" mentality for years and years.

The male brute will have none of this crap! He will enforce it's dominance and that's the end of it!

The shitty/funny/sick part is that these women eventually get used to the guy's enforced rules and by doing so they began to cope with their mood swings far better, eventually defending their brutish methods... because... they worked.

Not all women have these issues, and for sure not all men are willing to become brutes and enforce their rules. Far more dualist women exist today than brutish men.

And, as we punish severely the brutish male, soon enough, if not already done, men will avoid imposing anything and just let women decide.

But the dualist women refuse to "man up" and take the role of the male in relation to it's own body and biology, therefore they are getting singled out and become... feminists.

Unable to submit, forced by their on biology to constantly whine and demand attention while in the same time controlled by their mind, these women are stuck and no amount of therapy will make them happy.

In my anecdotal experience, about 50% of all feminist women end up marrying late a brutish/hyper masculine guy that does care about her crap. About half of the rest become ultra-conservative and religious and marry kind guys (usually divorced) and they pamper those guys as their own children...

The rest become lost. Many start riding dicks, some have deep alcoholic issues, usually have bad health (fat, obese, liver issues, all kind of illnesses) and eventually get old and fade away.

I do agree that hyper masculine brutish characters had a biological role, not substantial, but they did saved a lot of these dualistic women from themselves, using not so acceptable methods.

Some women fantasies include these brutish actions... btw.
