Actually I could provide a bit of background about this because I find Poland interesting and I'm sure that there may well be Polish posters who will back me up on this.

In December British police issued a European Arrest Warrant to bring her home but Polish police let her go as kidnapping by a parent is not a crime there.

I can't tell you how full of shit the daily mail must have been to write this, but there was a key bit there that the daily mail seem to be ignoring. It's a 'European' arrest warrant, as in, European Union. The background for this is very likely that because of how anti-EU the Poles are they have likely rejected the warrant for this reason.

Now don't get me wrong, it could also be a typical case of family court corruption but if the father actually wants to do something he's likely going to have to contact the polish embassy directly or actually travel to Poland in order to make his case to the Polish government. They're undergoing some very radical reforms in the court system and are trying to stop any outside influence from the EU.

There is no way they're going to do anything if they're getting pestered at by the UK and the EU, direct intervention is likely needed, if I were him like I mentioned either contact the Polish embassy or go to the Polish government directly. It's amazing really we've gotten to the point now in Europe that people don't seem to understand at all how things work in a genuinely independent and sovereign country.
