Instead of men and women, instead of black and white, let's use cats and dogs to critically examine the sjw concept of 'privilege'

In a mythical land, there has been a long standing antagonism between cat lovers an dog lovers.

The people imagine themselves to be oh so sophisticated now tho, beyond all that, and open expression of antagonistic views is discouraged.

The cat lovers are in ascendancy atm, sally is a cat lover. Raised to hate dogs and all things about them, she is somewhat frustrated by the taboo against expressing her hatred.

I acknowledge my cat lover privilege, and I feel shame. I will never fully understand the pain of a dog lover, I will never know the humiliation of being asked to pick shit off the sidewalk.

Entering a store, I will never have the shopkeeper scrunch up his nose, disgusted at my smell, and I know many of you, fellow cat people, tolerate the presence of dog lovers and do not scrunch up your noses, or believe you do not - but what is a dog lover to think of you, you with your clean, fastidious pets, when he has so often been turned away, told that he is stinking up the joint.

We will never know the humiliation of being stopped by police, merely for having a dog, on the pretense that it might at any time attack and kill a child - this is our privilege and we must struggle to overcome it.
