Duh, same in America and you'll never hear it from feminists. They don't want to solve the problem itself by preventing more abuse victims, who statistically tend to become abusers themselves. They just want female power and privilege.

A 2007 survey by the ministry of women and child development, which sampled 12,447 children in families, schools, at work and living on the street, found that more than half had faced sexual abuse, and 53 percent of victims were boys. For the capital Delhi, the figure was 60 percent.

This information could only be found by a close reading and examination of the data tables in the mentioned survey report. Although the executive summary of the report did break down physical child abuse by gender it did not do so for sexual abuse, thus playing into the commonly held assumption that child sexual abuse is men abusing girls.

It should also be noted that the aforementioned survey did not explicitly ask about female perpetrators, but often used male gendered words in that context.
