so, one of my plates/fwbs got a boyfriend (or a new plate that she hangs out with more than me. not sure if they put a label on it, they just act that way). so, she's been spending less time with me, which makes sense. and she leaves with him if we're all at the same thing, which also makes sense

but when she does hang out with me, the sex is more intense, and she's pushing for it more

the guy doesn't seem particularly beta. he's the classic new hot gf every 3 months kind of guy, ends when he cheats too many times. if anything, i figured i was the more beta of the two

similar situation with an ex. we split, and she's seeing a new guy. he's got a nice car, a coke habit, and is openly into threesomes and being dominating in bed. he's got some fat on him, but he's also generally bigger and stronger than i am, more socially dominant, etc.

yet every few weeks, she'll call me at 1am and we fuck like animals (and i've called her up a couple times with similar results)

i'm not compaining (i'm fucking people i like, we're still friends outside of that, and it's basically no effort on my part), but i have no idea what the model is. like, why break up/reduce contact with me in favour of some guy that seems more alpha, and then fuck me even harder on the side without expecting commitment?
