Following reddit's guidelines I am commenting on this video not down voting it. I disagree with this woman, developers who are female are no more or less lazy then men in my professional experience. female developers need ~~ALOT~~ A LOT more encouragement on average, a need to constantly touch base with the manager to ensure their professional self esteem is in a good place. This leads to teams being less critical of female peers, even if it is constructive criticism. On the flip side, men tend to be over confident and this can cause developers prima ballerina syndrome, where each male team member believes he is better than the others. I also think the current female developers don't really care about feminists, because unlike feminist they already doing something useful with their degree.

As far as getting women with no stem experience into stem,I do not think this needs to be a objective because I do not care for equality of outcome. However, if you do want to encourage women into stem, you need to make it acceptable in western women's social circles. You need to make IT a more attractive job prospect. looking at code and talking about kernals all day long should be just as interesting a conversation topic on a girls night out as Emily's problems with Maria in the HR department.

Side Note: At the moment, women from developing nations (especially ones where there is actual oppression of women) are on average way more likely to study and work in stem than privileged western women.

Watched the first 5 minutes and there was nothing about female CEOs or IT companies. It’s just a compilation of random SJWs.
