It's not just the BBC who do this.

I made a submission to the recent Australian Human Rights Commission inquiry into sexual harassment at universities.

Not surprisingly my case didn't make it into their examples and they downplayed all male victims. Even where they acknowledged that university staff are harassed by students, their report said the problem was more serious for female staff.

As always.

Possibly this BBC page is complaint-worthy though. They say "sexual harassment looks like this" and there isn't a single example of a man being harassed by a woman, but the statistics say that it isn't uncommon. Even a BBC survey says so and their report on that included such an example.

One man, who did not want to be identified, said he had been harassed by his female boss.

He said: “She made constant comments about my appearance and how I dressed - comments asking about my hairy chest and what I liked in a woman.

"[It was] all laughed off by other mainly female office staff, but it left me feeling dirty and uncomfortable.

"I ended up with depression and confidence issues and had time off with anxiety as a result.”

At the bottom of the page, there's a link saying : "Why you can trust BBC News". Well this particular page says we can't.
