That's going to pop the heads of victimhood feminists right open! While Greer says a lot of idiotic stuff, this comment is a reminder that she, like Camille Paglia and Christina Hoff Sommers, are 20th century feminists from a time when feminism still said, "Women are empowered, women are equal to men" and actually meant it.

Today, when I see a comment like that from a feminist, a comment that ascribes to a woman responsibility and accountability for her actions, it's jarring. We're just not used to that these days. Modern feminists are constantly insisting that women are like children with no agency, therefore they aren't responsible for anything they do.

These sort of throwback feminist attitudes, like Greer's, are as surprising and refreshing as they are rare. Which is a pity, in fact it's half the problem with modern feminism.
